of cylindrical-segment form, the convex surface intricately incised in kaishu with Wang Xi Zhi's poem, Yu Shi Bu Lang Xie Wan Shu, written after his resignation from all positions to reiterate his stance, terminating with youzai Zhang Yanyuan fa shu yao lu and yi an shu, the bamboo patinated to a warm reddish-brown colour.
