painted to the ovoid body with interlaced ruyi heads suspending stylised lotus flowers alternating with bajixiang ('Eight Buddhist Emblems') hanging from the beaded tassels, all above a band enclosing mythical horses galloping among vivid turbulent wave, the neck collared with stylised foliage, the base with a six-character mark in underglaze blue.
