Of faceted baluster shape, the front and sides of the tapering body carved with pendent blades inlaid with turquoise-colored cicadas and reserved on a diaper ground above a band of key fret on the shallow wood foot, the rounded shoulder carved with a taotie band, and the waisted neck inlaid with a taotie mask below further diaper pattern and flanked by a pair of dark scroll handles, the plain bamboo veneer back with a small opening for hanging.
