The soldier finely modelled seated atop a caparisoned horse, the right arm extended along his waist, the left arm bent, the horse with a saddle and a long cloth cascading above the mud guards, with traces of pigments.
Provenance: Robert Rousset, Paris (1901-1981), acquired prior to 1935.
