Fang Zun has an extravagant mouth, a bound neck, shoulders, a straight belly, high feet, four dragon heads on all sides of the shoulders, and four standing birds on the four corners. The whole body of the vessel has a thunder pattern as the ground, the neck is decorated with banana leaf patterns, and the belly and feet are decorated with animal face patterns.

In the Shang and Zhou dynasties, bronze ritual vessels were ceremonial vessels used in major sacrificial sacrifices and ceremonies in aristocratic society, and were also markers of the status and status of nobles at all levels. Among the bronze ritual vessels of various shapes, the ceremonial specifications of the square vessels are higher than that of the round vessels. A large number of bronze Fang Dings, Fang Zun, Fang Yi and Fang Gou unearthed from the tomb of Fu Hao reflect the fact that the owner of the tomb, Fu Hao, is the king and queen of the Shang Dynasty. identity and status.
