Jade dragon and phoenix pendant, Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24)
Jade pendant with openwork carving patterns of a dragon in the inner ring, and a phoenix facing it in the outer ring, Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 24). Unearthed from the mausoleum of the Nanyue King in 1983. Now, in the permanent collection of the Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province.
