A rare small Ru-type shallow dish, Yongzheng four-character seal mark in underglaze blue and of the period. Estimate $30,000 - $50,000. Price Realized $93,750. Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2015 The dish is sturdily potted with an everted rim above narrow, vertical lobes molded on the exterior, and is covered overall, including the base, in an even, sky-blue glaze, which pools to a slightly deeper color in the recesses on the exterior, and stops in a neat line above the brown-dressed foot rim. 5 3/8 in. A Ru-type tripod censer of 'Fish basket' form, Qianlong six-character seal mark in underglaze blue and of the period (1736-1795). Photo Christie's Image Ltd 2014. The censer is of compressed form supported by three short feet below a band of twelve bosses. The waisted neck rises to a flaring mouth flanked by two lug-handles to the shoulder, and is covered all over with an attractive crackled greyish-blue glaze stopping at the tip of the feet.7 ? in.
