well-carved following the natural form of the boulder with Shoulao carrying a peach next toa deer, followed by an attendant, climbing a mountain path towards a pavilion near the summit, the reverse with two cranes and a pavilion amongst a pine tree on a rocky outcrop, all set within a mountainous landscape, the stone with enhanced russet, wood stand (2). Finely carved and rounded as a miniature boulder with numerous crevices, with tufts of grass carved in low relief on several edges, the bright blue stone with soft polish; the white jade stand carved and pierced as rockwork from which grow lingzhiand asters: 3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) long. Estimate $60,000 - $80,000
