With rounded sides flaring widely to a slightly everted rim, the center of the interior painted in underglaze blue with a large flower head surrounded by four lotus blossoms borne on leafy, conjoined tendrils, repeated as a frieze on the exterior, all within double line borders and reserved on a lemon-yellow ground that also covers the base around the nianhao; 10 7/8 in. (27.7 cm.) diam. - Estimate $70,000 - $90,000. Price Realized $194,500
