Each panel painted with a chinoiserie scene depicting figures engaged in various amusing pursuits with insects and birds overhead, the moulded ribs and rims gilt, together with a later associated gilt cover, 10.3cm high, crossed swords mark in blue, gilt numerals 13. to canister and 15. to cover (scattered minor wear to gilding) (2).
