The octagonal step-cut emerald, framed by circular-cut and baguette diamonds, engraved Monture Cartier and numbered, French assay and maker's marks, case. Estimation: 95,000 - 165,000 CHF - Lot. Vendu 182,500 CHF
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 64565, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures.
PROVENANCE: August von Finck (1898-1980), thence by descent.
