18 kt., the circular gold seal centering two engraved interlocking V's, edged with black enamel, accented by rose-cut diamonds, topped by a carved coral mythical creature carrying its baby wrapped in feathers on its back, approximately 58.0 x 21.0 mm., signed Cartier, Paris, no. 65498, with French assay mark, circa 1925. Coral: medium orange, nose of baby shipped & segment on side chipped, dull to medium luster, some dirt in crevices. Diameter of base just over 1 inch. 2 1/2 x 1 5/8 inches. Estimate $2,500-3,500
