la panse circulaire légèrement bombée sur un court pied aux angles arrondis, le col en forme de bulbe relié par la panse par des anses arrondies se terminant en tête de ruyi, la panse peinte en camaïeu de bleu d'un décor de rinceaux végétaux rayonnant autour d'un médaillon central symbolisant le yin et le yang, une frise géométrique le long des bords et autour du col; 27,2 cm, 10 1/4 in. Compare a Yongle prototype of this design and an unmarked Yongzheng version which varies slightly from the present piece, both in the Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in Ye Peilan, Appraising Ancient Chinese Ceramics, Taipei, 1993, pp. 74f. Another unmarked Qianlong example, but lacking its foot, was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 27th April 1993, lot 161.
