The vase is exquisitely carved around the pear-shaped body with a broad frieze of peony scroll below a row of pendent and upward lappets encircling the slender tapering neck. It is covered with an olive-green glaze suffused with fine crackles and pooling to a darker tone in the recesses. 7 3/4 in. (17.7 cm.) high
