PALM DESERT, CA.- Claude Monet’s 1885 oil Pots de Tulipes was among the traditional and contemporary sales at the Heather James Fine Art booth at Spring Masters New York, taking place May 8-12.

Amid the city’s week of art fairs and auctions, which included a record-setting Picasso sale at Christie’s, Heather James exhibited at the second edition of Spring Masters New York, presenting a selection of paintings and sculpture that reflect the gallery’s breadth of historical and contemporary pieces.

In addition to the Monet, the gallery sold oil paintings by the French artist Emile Munier (A Boy Holding a Branch of Berries, 1877) and the Italian artist Max Pellegrini (Il Bacio del Principe, 2002-2009).
