each with shallow rounded sides rising from a slightly flared foot to an everted rim, the interior incised with a medallion enclosing a scaly five-clawed dragon writhing sinuously among clouds next to a 'flaming pearl', the exterior similarly decorated with striding dragons, applied overall with a deep yellow glaze, save for the base left white and inscribed with an apocryphal Hongzhi mark and apocryphal Jiajing mark respectively; 17.1 cm., 6 3/4 in.
