finely potted with a short foot rising to shallow rounded sides and an everted rim, painted on the interior with a double-circle enclosing a phoenix between cloud scrolls with wings outstretched and flowing tail feathers, the exterior with two five-clawed dragons in pursuit of 'flaming pearls', the detail picked out in the wucaipalette, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle.
