Painted with a gentleman scholar flanked by two attendants, one carrying a qin wrapped in cloth, the other offering a vase, in a landscape of bamboo, plantain and rockwork beneath stylised, wispy clouds. 17.2cm (6.3/4in) high.
Provenance: A European private collection, acquired between 1960-70, and thence by descent.
