The bowl is sturdily potted with rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim. The interior is incised with a stylised floral spray to the centre within a medallion. It is covered overall with a thick lustrous glaze of sea-green tone, the base revealing the biscuit body burnt orange during the firing, Japanese wood box.
