the interior decorated in yellow enamel with a central medallion enclosing a ferocious dragon reaching for a 'flaming pearl' amidst flames and ruyi clouds, surrounded by two dragons striding sinuously at the cavetto, the reverse similarly painted with two dragons in pursuit of 'flaming pearls' above upright lappets skirting the foot, all reserved against an underglaze-blue ground, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double circle.
