The celadon-glazed drum-form censer is decorated with floral sprays and monster-masks set between raised bosses, all supported on three humanoid feet which are raised on a circular platform. The cover is surmounted by a Buddhist lion finial.
Provenance: Acquired by the vendor's family in Europe prior to 1975, then by descent within the family.
