Expert et marchand reconnu dans le domaine des arts tribaux anciens provenant d’Afrique, d’Océanie et d’Amérique du Nord, Yann Ferrandin traque sans relâche et sélectionne avec rigueur, expertise et appréciation esthétique des objets d'exception. Les expositions thématiques offertes dans sa galerie, chacune le fruit de nombreuses années de recherche, ont marqué les esprits et ont donné lieu à la publication de catalogues aujourd'hui considérés comme des ouvrages de référence: ‘Kongo, art magique’ en 2008; ‘Black Seat, sièges d’exception d’Afrique noire’ en 2010; ‘Kota’ en 2011, ‘Mélanésie’ en 2012 ou encore 'Hair' en 2016. Il travaille en premier lieu avec une clientèle internationale privée, et offre aussi conseil lors de l’acquisition de collections. Sa politique active de prêts au service d'expositions prestigieuses lui vaut d'être reconnu par les plus grands musées mondiaux dont il enrichit régulièrement les collections.
