the baluster jar sweeping upward from a waisted lower body to a generous shoulder and upright rim, the exterior with four registers of vertical ribs divided by horizontal fillets, the slightly domed cover with an undulating rim surmounted by a small stem-form knop, covered overall in an unctuous sea-green glaze save for the well, rim, foot ring, and base, all burnt orange from firing (2).
