The animal's neck is adorned with a bell. The saddle, which rests on a rug, is removable. It is represented doing the 'Spanish walk'.
A similar model is preserved in the Meiyintang collection and illustrated in Regina Krahl, 'Trésors de la collection Meiyintang, Céramique chinoise ancienne', 2009, fig. 116.
