the deep rounded sides rising from a short, slightly splayed foot to a gently flared rim, the recessed base incised with a four-character reign mark, the smoothly polished stone of a pale celadon-white colour mottled with icy inclusions and faint russet streaks.
Provenance: An old Japanese collection.
