Each chair with curving top rail composing five sections, sloping down to the arms supported by two straight back posts and S-shaped front and back posts, a shaped spandrel beneath each out-scrolled and rounded terminal, the gently-curving central backsplat carved in relief with two confronted chilong enclosed within a ruyi-shaped medallion, the seat frame securing a soft-cane matting and set above a beaded apron carved with interlocking leafy stems, joined by foot stretchers of ascending heights.
