potted with deep rounded sides rising from a tapered foot, incised and enamelled in green around the exterior with two fruiting peach trees, symbolising longevity, issuing from rockwork, scattered with four birds either in flight or perched near the pierced rockwork, all reserved on a yellow ground below a green band, the base inscribed in aubergine with a six-character reign mark within a double circle.
Provenance: Acquired from Edward T. Chow (1910-80) in the late 1960s.
