Lot 167. Rolex. A rare and attractive stainless steel water-resistant chronograph wristwatch with bracelet, original Rolex Japan Guarantee, overhaul invoice and box. Signed Rolex, Oyster Cosmograph, Daytona Paul Newman model, ref. 6265, case no. 3972571, manufactured in 1975. Cal. 727 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the black dial with applied silvered square-shaped numerals with luminous accents on outer white ring, red fifths of a second divisions, luminous hands, three subsidiary white engine-turned dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, the tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with blank bezel calibrated for 200 units per hour, screw back and screw down crown, two round screw down chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and clasp stamped 1.75, case, dial and movement signed. 37 mm. diam. Estimate : 60,000 - 90,000 Swiss francs
