A pair of large Chinese blue and white dishes, Kangxi

Of deep circular form, decorated in underglaze blue with central design of butterflies amidst flowering branches surrounded by band of scrolling flowering branches, a further band to the rim of four panels of flowering peonies reserved against diaper pattern ground. 34.5cm diam, flowering prunus mark within double circle to base (some hairlines and small chips to rims).
