A Louis XV / XVI Transitional style gilt bronze and cut glass eighteen light chandelier - Late 19th century,
The cage frame cast with Bacchanalian masks and winged putto terms holding flaming urns below a pierced draped classical oval portrait girdle and surmounted by a vase and rams mask and laurel wreath rose, the spiral candle arms arranged in two tiers with urn nozzles, beaded drip pans and leafy collars, the lower tier with six pairs of arms, the upper tier with six single arms, all issuing from a baluster urn knopped receiver with acanthus pineapple final and similar terminal, all hung and strung with faceted pear shaped drops, floral rosettes and strings of beaded droplets, 105cm (41") drop. Estimate: £7,000 - 10,000. This lot has been withdrawn

Each with arched back rail, centred by a carved flower, above a shaped padded back and armrests on scrolling fluted supports, the serpentine seat on cabriole legs, each with cream ground foliate cotton upholstery (6) - Estimate: £3,000 - 4,000. Unsold.
