Two pairs of gold menuki - Edo Period, 18th/19th Century
The first a mask of an old man with a fan, signed [illegible]; the second in the form of kuruma ebi in different postures. (4) - Sold for $800 plus Premium and tax
Note: The primary purpose of the Menuki is decorative in nature although some schools emphasis there use to insure proper placement of the hand.
