With tall cylindrical neck and a globular body supported on a short straight foot, cut with fourteen slightly concave vertical facets, the glass of deep ruby-red color - height 11 in., 28 cm - Estimate: ,000—12,000 USD
NOTE : pair of slightly smaller vases of this shape and color, bearing Yongzheng marks and attributed to the period, are illustrated in Claudia Brown and Donald Rabiner, Clear as Crystal, Red as Flame, China Institute Gallery, China Institute in America, New York, 1990, p. 56, no. 19.
