A Chinese 'Kraak' porcelain dish. Wanli Period (1573-1620
of elegant shape and thinly potted, painted in blue with ducks by the water's edge, the everted rim with shaped reserves containing flowers and auspicious motifs, the reverse of the rim lightly sketched with similar reserves; together with a similar dish, the centre painted with flowers spilling from a bowl on three feet, section of the rim repaired, possibly with section replaced. 37.5 and 36.5 cm. Estimate 1,500—1,800 EUR - Lot Sold 1,250 EUR
