Of elongated cylindrical form with a waisted neck surrounded by three fantastic rocks painted in brilliant cobalt wash and outline also used to draw the central motif of pine, prunus and bamboo surrounding garden rocks reversed by birds and plants on the opposing side of the elongated body; now drilled and mounted as a lamp base. 17 1/2in (44.5cm) height of porcelain. Sold for US$9,375

The mouth rim above the tall perpendicular sides covered with a russet wash, the exterior painted with a continuous landscape in cobalt of gradated hues depicting water plants including lotus blossoms and leaves, grasses and stones amid a rippled pond limned with a few spare brush strokes, all supported by a flat footless unglazed base of well-levigated paste.6 1/4in (16cm) high. Sold for US$4,000

Potted with an unglazed neck and narrow band to the shoulder above a cloud-scroll band and continuous landscape setting painted in underglaze blue beneath a colorless glaze with a young prince riding a longma amid attendants, the recessed base painted in underglaze blue with a double ring. 8 1/2in (21.5cm) high. Sold for US$3,500
