Modelled after a Venetian glass original, the tall cylindrical neck applied with two tightly scrolling handles with leaf-shaped flanges, painted with leafy sprays, the compressed globular body painted with blossoming flowers, the flaring top section with further flowers; 10 in. Of quatrefoil bottle form, decorated in shades of inky blue with panels of blossoming prunus, peony and chrysanthemum, the spout formed as the head of an open-mouthed phoenix, the domed, notched cover with flower finial; 10¼ in. (26.2 cm.) high overall. Estiumate £2,000 - £3,000
