painted around the exterior in strong cobalt-blue tones with figures in a rocky landscape by riverbanks and a lone fisherman poling a sampan, the scene repeated around the neck, all separated by scrolling cloud bands and line borders, the base inscribed with a doublecircle in underglaze-blue; 44.7cm., 17 5/8 in. Estimation 10,000-15,000 GBP. Lot 116 vendu: 15,000 GBP
