of bean shape with four shallow notches along its outer edge, the slightly concave top incised through the white slip with a panel enclosing a single peony spray with curling foliage reserved on a punched circled ground, an air hole pierced to the back, covered overall with a clear glaze stopping short of the flat, unglazed base.
