the domed circular base with scallop-banded edge, rising to a field of concentric scales beneath two downturned rings of flared petals, the baluster-form stem comprised of a fluted urn form beneath an openwork knop and a fluted stalk, supporting a large cup, the underside decorated with a concentric scale design similar to that on the foot, a gadrooned register above, the undecorated upper portion divided by a deeply recessed band, the top register of oval section.
