A rare, radiant and ravishing Art Deco necklace, circa 1930, by the eminent Madrid, Paris and London joaillier - Lacloche Frères, starring a gorgeous, serene cornflower blue sapphire with diamond like purity. The perfectly proportioned 33.06 carat emerald-cut sapphire is accompanied by an AGL - American Gemological Laboratory certificate stating:

Provenance - Ceylon, Heat Enhancement - None, Clarity Enhancement - None. This enchanting and impressive gemstone centers a platinum and diamond pagoda motif frame with a baguette diamond tassel dancing below. The 17 inch necklace is comprised of geometric links glittering with small single-cut diamonds. French assay marks on five links.
