of square section with indented corners, the straight tapered sides supported on a small recessed foot, delicately inlaid around the exterior in iridescent slivers of mother-of-pearl, two sides with two scholars conversing in a landscape, the others with garden rocks either issuing trees or supporting a pagoda, between a border of interlocked florets at the rim and a band of ruyi around the base, the interior, base and rim lined with metal.
