Porcelain, polychrome enamel colors. Jingdezhen hall mark associated with the Qianlong reign. Imperial quality. Of square section. Dark coral ground. Finely decorated in gilding with lotus scrolls. Fitted wooden box.Dimensions: 16.5 x 9 cm. Good condition. Each side of the vase with an exquisite landscape panel depicting one of the four seasons. Estimation : 16 000 € / 20 000 €

This glazed porcelain vase was crafted in China in the Qing Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795).
The base shows the four character hall mark ‘Jin Wan Shan Fang’ in iron-red.
The vase features an archaic Cong-form, so the rectangular body rises on a round foot rim and forms an accentuated shoulder with short neck.
The four panels in polychrome enable colors depicting one of the four seasons.
The cartouches are encircled by gilt lotus scrolls on the dark coral ground.
The precious vase comes in a matching wooden casket and is glazed turquoise inside.
