well potted with wide flaring sides rising at an angle from a slightly splayed foot, finely moulded on the interior with intricate foliate scrolls, surrounded on the interior walls by lotus blossoms borne on a continuous stem enclosing the two characters 'Shu' and 'Fu', the exterior encircled by a single rib and a slightly raised flange around the base, covered overall in a pale sky-blue glaze, save for footring and underside left unglazed revealing the white biscuit.
