delicately potted with steep rounded sides rising from a tapered foot and everting slightly at the rim, dressed overall in a brilliant egg-yolk yellow glaze, a six-character underglaze-blue mark at the base within double-circles.
Provenance: An English Private Collection.
Note: Deceptively simple in form and colour, yellow-glazed bowls represent one of the most successful porcelain wares produced during the Hongzhi period.
