the deep lobed sides rising to a straight rim, freely decorated to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a duck swimming amidst stylized waves, framed by a wide band of deftly carved and combed waves, below a plain border at the rim, the exterior with an incised line border at the rim and six incised vertical ribs, all beneath a rich olive-green glaze stopping short of the neatly-pared foot ring.
