Well-hollowed and with a narrow mouth, the rounded rectangular bottle with a tapering neck slightly contracting towards a flat lip, oval foot ring, utilizing the dramatic earthy brown inclusions in the evenly-hued green stone, finely carved to each side with a monkish figure seated on a cloud-encircled rocky platform, one subduing an advancing tiger, the other holding an alms bowl in his right hand, his left hand pointing at a dragon descending from a dense cloudbank, the narrow sides with two raised, finely defined lion mask-and-ring handles. 2 3/4in (7cm) high
