Thickly molded with a barbed rim, curving reeded walls incised with a diffuse lotus flower pattern, the floor of the well stamped with a cash trellis pattern in a barbed frame of combed lines that repeat on the rim, the exterior finished with fluted walls above the wide foot ring and all surfaces covered with an olive green glaze except the cinnamon-burnt firing ring on the shallow recessed base (glaze abraded). 13 1/4in (34cm) diameter
