Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire, weighing approximately 16.33 carats, to the diamond-set gallery and curved shoulders, ring size 6 ½, mounted in platinum.
Accompanied by report no. 16032006 dated 17 March 2016 from the Gübelin GemLab stating that the origin of the sapphire is Kashmir, with no indications of heating, an Appendix stating that this sapphire 'possesses a richly saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with a high degree of transparency, and a proportioned cut' and an Information sheet on 'Unheated sapphires'.
Report no. CS1073444 dated 10 March 2016 from the AGL American Gemological Laboratories stating that the origin of the sapphire is Kashmir, with no heat enhancement and no clarity enhancement, and an Appendix stating that 'the significance of this particular Kashmir sapphire is the fact that it is in excess of 16 carats, a substantial weight category, especially for sapphires of this provenance. For the aficionado of Kashmir material, this gemstone represents a unique time capsule of Kashmir's history and its contribution to the world of sapphires'.
