the gently rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, the exterior painted with a continuous scene of mandarin ducks swimming between clusters of lotus, and others in flight above, all between double line borders around the rim and foot, the interior centred with a medallion enclosing a similar scene, the recessed base inscribed with a six-character mark within double circles in underglaze blue; 19.7 cm, 7 3/4 in.
