The tea bowl is well potted with deep sides rising from a short foot to a finger-grooved rim. It is covered with a thick black glaze finely streaked with iridescent 'silver hare's fur', stopping irregularly above the foot exposing the dark brown body. 5 in. (13 cm.) diam., Japanese wood box
