Set with an oval sapphire weighing 17.13 carats, the mount of bombé design pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 521/2, signed monture VCA, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 86893, stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
